About Lea Wolf: Lea Wolf has been an outspoken advocate for students and children for several years. She is a dedicated and tireless volunteer who has spearheaded several projects and initiatives centered on students’ rights and accountability. Lea is passionate about empowering and improving student outcomes. She authored the SELF-Ex Method, an interactive guide to responsibly address adverse situations. This program earned Lea the USC EDGE Center award for top educational solution.

About Our Workshop:

The purpose of this workshop to equip youth tools and techniques to address insults, rumors, false accusations, harassment, pushing, physical altercations, damage to personal belongings, and other hurtful behaviors.  The participants will learn how to discern between innocent and intentional behaviors that harm others. The tools and techniques range from cautious to more forceful methods that ensure the victim is acting in good faith, to give the aggressor an opportunity to repair the harm caused.

Learning Objectives:

This workshop enables participants to develop a personalized action plan and equips them with practical tools and techniques relevant to their situation. Participants learn to assess the situation based on severity, risk, resources, and personality traits.

The workshop engages participants to:

  1. Discover the root cause of bullying
  2. Understand the impact of bullying on bullies and victims
  3. Identify differences between bullying and conflict
  4. Correct faulty beliefs to assert boundaries
  5. Present your solutions to bullying and bullies
  6. Practice various techniques to address bullying
  7. Construct a personalized action plan to address bullying
