Our currently elected leadership lacks accountability, transparency, and integrity. The Board majority, backed by special interest groups has made reckless decisions that have compromised the well-being of students and teachers. Leadership has created a culture of secrecy, stonewalling, and outright misinformation. This has created fear, distrust, and anxiety in our community.

A July 2018 Survey conducted by Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates to evaluate the “State of the District” shows:
- 53% “The district is heading in the right direction.”
- 45% “There is transparent communication from the District.”
- 47% “Teachers personalize instructional strategies …”
- 51% “The district is fiscally responsible.”
- 61% “District schools are safe.”
