The Purpose

The purpose of the e-LEADERS™ Method to Collaborative Parenting workshop is to equip parents with eight practical skills to create a safe environment for open and honest communications with their children. The e-LEADERS™ Method is focused on resolving conflictive situations respectfully. It focuses on children gaining acceptance and support, while learning to take on responsibilities to create a harmonious home environment.

Have you thought about your roles and responsibilities as a parent? Every interaction with your child can be focused on achieving purpose collaboratively, while infusing principles and life skills. This will guide them to make value-based decisions and prepare them to be self-reliant adults.

The e-LEADERS™ Method: Collaborative Parenting to Raise Responsible Children

The Problem

The relationship between parents and their children can be very contentious. In one type of case, parents impose strict rules on their kids – who resist, rebel and refuse to adhere.  Parents then use threats, sanctions, and punishments to enforce their rules. However, such practices result in resentful, distant, and disrespectful relationships.

On the other hand, there are overly permissive parents who fail to set up value-based boundaries. Their children perceive this leniency as a lack of care, and these kids act out of control. Clearly autocratic parenting is too restrictive, and democratic parenting is too permissive.

The Program Outline

Collaborative parenting is when parents and children work together to assert boundaries, balancing each other’s needs through priorities, principles, and purpose.

The workshop engages participants in:

  • Introduction to the e-LEADERS™ Method
  • Discover elements that breach or build trust
  • Self-evaluation of your skills
  • Solutions to improve your skills
